Funding Debt Collection

Our debt collection service is highly cost effective. We do not charge for Letters before Action where we go on to handle a claim.

When we do handle a claim, we work on a fixed cost basis. The majority of these costs are normally recoverable from the Defendant.

Some debt collection agencies offer a No Win-No Fee service, however you may end up having to give them up to 30% of the recovered debt. As debt collection agencies cannot conduct litigation, if you proceed to court and a defence is filed, then you will have to instruct a solicitor but still pay the percentage to the agency: a rather undesirable situation that can be avoided if you instruct Lorrells to handle your debt collection matter from the start.
